A Case Based Approach to Feline House Soiling and Aggression

Francesca Riccomini

BSc(Hons) BVetMed CCAB MRCVS DipAS(CABC)

Companion Animal Behaviour Referrals, London

Course synopsis

Cats are more popular than ever before. Their increased popularity goes hand in hand with an increase in the number of clients seeking help with their pets' behaviour. House soiling and aggression towards both people and other pets, especially companion and neighbouring felines, are the most commonly presented difficulties with which owners struggle. Greater understanding leads to increased confidence when offering good quality first aid advice and/or approaching such cases in the first opinion clinic.  This course is predominantly a case based workshop, where delegates will be asked to participate in group discussions.  Emphasis will be placed on identifying the motivations underlying specific behavioural problems and applying potential treatment options.

Specific areas to be covered

Issues that commonly influence the development of these behavioural difficulties

Why should I upgrade to Internet Explorer 7? Microsoft has redesigned Internet Explorer from the ground up, with better security, new capabilities, and a whole new interface. Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.
