Course synopsis

We all come across patients suffering from endocrine disorders if not on a daily basis then on a weekly basis. Owners approach us as nurses to help explain the disease, the tests and the treatment. This one day course will discuss some of the most common endocrine disorders, including Cushings Disease, Addisons and diabetes as well as briefly discussing some of the more unusual cases. The reasoning behind certain tests and treatments will also be discussed.

Diabetes

Hyperthyroid and Hypothyroid disease
