Course synopsis

This half day course is designed for qualified nurses interested in orthopaedics, who are faced with nursing and anaesthetising animals with fractures. This course will cover all aspects of fracture management, including initial presentation, patient stabilisation and triage care. There will be discussions on diagnostics, fracture types and methods of repair, along with demonstrating the role the nurse can play during the surgical process.
