Rachel qualified as a veterinary nurse several years ago whilst working in a small animal practice. She then moved to London and completed a degree in veterinary nursing at the Royal Veterinary College. During this period she spent time locuming at a variety of small animal practices.

 

Rachel now works for the Royal Veterinary College and is a member of the academic team within the Department of Veterinary Clinical Sciences. She incorporates time working in the clinical environment alongside her academic work, helping to keep her knowledge and skills up to-date and especially enjoys working with the Internal Medicine team. Rachel developed her interest in nutrition whilst completing the Certificate in Small Animal Nutrition and has since co-authored a number of publications on Clinical Nutrition.
